The victims, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, were targeted because of their perceived vulnerability. Many were lured with false promises of affection, manipulated into dependency, and then sold to other abusers for profit. The organized nature of these crimes reveals a disturbing economic component, where young girls were treated as commodities to be traded. This exploitation highlights the depths of human depravity when systemic safeguards fail to act.
